Terms of Purchase

PERFORMANCE CHEF ACADEMY | LEVEL 1 FOUNDATION COURSE

1. Who you are buying from

Performance Chef Academy is a trading name of Kognique Holdings LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, with its registered address at 1021 E Lincolnway, Unit 443, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Kognique Holdings LLC trading as Performance Chef Academy. "You" means the person buying access to the course.

2. What you are buying

The Level 1 Foundation Course is a professional online course for qualified chefs. It is delivered on our learning platform across twelve modules, organised into four parts, with assessed missions and a final test in each module. On successful completion you receive a Performance Chef Academy Level 1 certificate of completion.

The course is approved for CPD by the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr). It is professional education. It is not a regulated qualification and it does not license you to prescribe nutrition, set nutritional targets, or replace a registered nutrition professional. The course teaches you to work alongside performance and medical staff, within the professional scope of a chef.

3. Price and payment

The price payable is the price displayed at checkout at the time you buy. All prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling, and include any VAT that applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

Two payment options are offered:
- Payment in full at checkout.
- A payment plan of four monthly instalments. The first instalment is taken at checkout and the remaining three are taken automatically at monthly intervals from the same card.

The total payable under the payment plan is the same as the price for payment in full. Both options are shown at checkout before you buy.

4. Foreign transaction charges

We charge in pounds sterling. Because the merchant of record is a company registered in the United States, some banks and card issuers add their own foreign transaction fee to the payment. That fee is charged by your bank, not by us, and we have no control over it. If this applies to you, the amount debited by your bank may be slightly higher than the price shown at checkout.

5. Access to the course

Access is granted to the email address used at checkout. Access is personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or used by more than one person. Course materials remain our property and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced in any form.

Founding cohort places are limited and are allocated in order of purchase.

The course is released in four parts of three modules each. Each part opens on a set date for the whole cohort. We tell you the release dates when you enrol.

6. If a payment fails

If an instalment fails, our payment provider will email you and retry the payment for up to 30 days. Your access continues during this period.

If the payment is still unpaid at the end of that period, your payment plan is cancelled and your access ends. Your progress is kept, and if you settle the outstanding balance, we will restore your access.

A certificate of completion is issued only once the course has been completed and all instalments have been paid in full.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund rights are set out in full in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to the course

We may update course content to reflect current evidence and guidance. We may substitute a contributor or a live session where circumstances require it. We will not reduce the substance of what you have bought.

9. Our liability

The course provides education. It does not provide individual nutritional advice for a named athlete, and it is not a substitute for the judgement of a registered nutrition professional or a medical practitioner. You remain responsible for decisions taken in your own kitchen and for working within your professional scope.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes any protection given to you as a consumer by the law of the country in which you live.
